Tom Vrolijk
Tom Vrolijk (The Hague, 1992) is a singer and songwriter currently living in Delft. With a romantic spirit that derives from the 19th century and a sound inspired by faded voices from the sixties and seventies Tom Vrolijk lets the audience experience the purest and most original songs in a quite pure and rather original way. In 2015 he formed a band The Lucky Spares with whom he recorded his first album “Tom Vrolijk & The Lucky Spares.” This album came out in february 2017. After this there has been some changes in personnel, and some difficulties to remain in the spotlights. But after finding a new guitar player and drummer in early 2018 Tom and his Spares are more ready than ever to rock the crowd. The Lucky Spares are Daniel Levenbach (bass), Werner van Rossum (guitar) and Dylan Siemerink (drums). The live energy and variety in their setlist are sources deemed very important by the band in general. And every gig is a complete new adventure. On 14 december 2018 they released a new single called “Lazy Jim”. This catchy tune gets to your brain especially when the psychedelic part kicks in. The song portrays a typical hedonist who is surrounded by luxury and loses himself to everything around him.
Squidzilla
Squidzilla is een instrumentale eclectische space opera met accordeon, gitaar, saxofoon en drums. De nummers zijn onderdeel van het verhaal van de detective Doris Diego. Ze is gedumpt op een woeste onvriendelijke planeet, nadat ze teveel te weten kwam over de evil overseer van het ruimtestation. Op de planeet probeert ze contact te maken met de locale bevolking, de dusters, die neerkijken op vluchtelingen uit de ruimte, spacers. Hier plant ze haar wraak…
Douglas Bull
De in Delft, Nederland gevestigde rockband Douglas Bull is een mix van nationaliteiten die elkaar vonden op de Technische Universiteit Delft. Gedeelde interesse in bands als Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers en The Clash, begon de band te werken aan hun eigen liedjes. In mei 2018 bracht de band zijn eerste EP uit, getiteld ‘Nothing In Between’, die ze opnamen in de studio van de universiteit.
